Cendrillon was a project in collaboration with London College of Fashion and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, which focussed on transforming our designs into realised outcomes for their Spring Opera. We worked, eached assigned to a member of cast and were responsible for designing and making their costumes in coordination with our peers. All of our work was managed and critiqued by Costume Designer Gabriella Slade. For my designs, I was assigned one of the step sisters (Noemie), who was played by the incredibly talented Polly Clarke. I worked alongside Anna Jarvis Raeburn, who designed the looks for the other sister, and after extensive trialling and designs we settled on this warm toned high maintenance getting ready look for the home, with an over the top contrasting polka dot ball dresses.
